Hello dear listener, welcome to Sun'd Witch, featuring the natural music genius of Jane Kasowicz.
You may know her from JLK or Moss Lime or around the coolest spots in Montreal. A rare true Montrealer, Jane is a fantastic collaborator who keeps the vibe and chill going, even under pressure. Dans Le Vide was written in like 4 hours, including rewrites and multiple vocal takes. I gave Jane 28 minutes to rewrite her verses, and goddamn did she ever deliver!! And her bass take is *chef's kiss*.
Tell me, can you gec like a 100? I tried but almost pulled a hamstring. Bop along with us for this FIRE track, then travel up into the club atmosphere to really dance it out with Shake Me Off. I'll hold yr beer while you move it to the music.
Lastly we have a straight up chillwave hit with We're All Connected. Jane's voice is the perfect amount of ethereal and sincere, just like her message: we're all connected in this mixing board baby, so tune in and hold on for the ride. We're in this shit together <3
